Payback

Overheard this morning at the security checkpoint of a four-gate Midwestern airport, deep in corn country.

Man wearing sports coat, tie, and fancy cowboy boots: “Do the boots have to come off today?”

Female TSA screener: “Yes. Especially if you’re my ex-husband’s attorney.”

She must have been feeling generous because she stopped well short of a public strip search.
